Terms of use
Last updated 17 October 2026. Ballr helps groups organise football. These terms are between you and Team Ballr LTD, registered in Scotland. By signing up you agree to them.
Your account
- You must be 16 or over to use Ballr.
- Give us true details and keep them up to date. One person, one account.
- You sign in with an email code or with Google. Keep your email account safe, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you.
The match fee
- Each player pays a match fee to hold their place. It is the organiser's share of the pitch plus Ballr's part.
- Joining a game that is not confirmed yet? Your match fee is held, not taken.
- You are only charged when the organiser confirms the game and collects.
- Cards are held and charged by Stripe. Ballr never sees your card number.
Leaving and cancelling
- Before the match fee is collected you can leave at any time and nothing is charged.
- After it is collected you can still leave until kick-off, but your match fee stays with the game and your place goes back on offer.
- If the organiser calls a game off, every match fee is refunded, including that of anyone who left after it was collected.
- Nobody can leave once the game has kicked off.
Organisers
- Organisers set the share of the pitch, book the venue and run the game. Ballr does not own or run any pitch.
- To be paid, an organiser verifies their identity and adds a bank account through Stripe. Payouts are paused until that is done.
- An organiser plays in their own game without paying, because they have already paid the venue.
Playing together
- Be fair and be on time. Do not harass, threaten or cheat other players.
- Your name, position and game record can be seen by the players and clubs you play with.
- We can remove an account that breaks these terms.
Your account, your data
- You can delete your account from your profile. It is anonymised: your details are wiped and your past games show as a deleted player.
- See the privacy policy for what we keep and why.
The small print
- Ballr is provided as it is. We take care, but we cannot promise it will always be available.
- Nothing in these terms limits your legal rights as a consumer.
- Scots law applies, and the Scottish courts can hear any dispute.
- We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you before it applies.
